As Stratos continues to evolve and expand its ecosystem, the past two weeks have been marked by significant progress on various fronts. One of the standout milestones during this period has been the official launch of the Stratos IPFS Mainnet, a groundbreaking achievement that brings us closer to our goal of providing a decentralized, high-speed, and secure data storage network. Alongside this major milestone, we have also made advancements in other key areas, such as updates to our storage solutions, network efficiency, and the development of new platforms.

Completed:

1.SDS Release v0.12.6 — RPC Update

Implemented updates to the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) functionality, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of data transmission across the Stratos Decentralized Storage (SDS) network.

2. Metanode Release v0.12.7 — Traffic Settlement Improvement

Improved the traffic settlement mechanism to optimize transaction processing and ensure more accurate reward distribution among participating nodes.

3.Stratos IPFS (SPFS) Mainnet Release

The Stratos IPFS mainnet has officially been launched, offering a decentralized and highly scalable solution for file storage. With over 1,100 active storage nodes globally, Stratos is one of the largest and most distributed IPFS clusters, ensuring faster data retrieval, real-time streaming, and guaranteed file persistence. The integration of IPFS into the mainnet significantly enhances storage reliability and decentralization, aligning with Stratos’ core mission of empowering users with distributed, tamper-proof data storage.

4.Stratos File Drive Release v0.1.6 and v0.1.7

Rolled out updates to the Stratos File Drive, introducing performance optimizations and user experience improvements for decentralized file management.

Ongoing:

SDD Framework Development

Working on the design and implementation of the Stratos Decentralized Database (SDD) framework

2. Stratos Mobile Wallet Reboot

Redesigning and upgrading the Stratos Mobile Wallet to improve usability, security, and compatibility.

3. Stratos Chain Merkle Proof Improvement

Enhancing the Merkle Proof mechanism to strengthen data verification and integrity within the Stratos blockchain, ensuring a more robust and tamper-proof system.

4. SDS traffic Settlement Improvement (Continued)

Continuing work on refining traffic settlement processes to further optimize rewards distribution and network efficiency.

5. Stratos Decentralized Computation Network POC

Developing a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) for the Stratos Decentralized Computation Network, which aims to enable decentralized computing power within the ecosystem.

Ecosystem:

With the launch of Stratos-IPFS, we have actively begun engaging and connecting with the IPFS community to foster collaboration and initiate pilot projects utilizing our highly accessible SPFS network. At the same time, we are expanding our outreach to international communities, such as Japan, by working closely with local key opinion leaders (KOLs) to enhance awareness and adoption of Stratos.

The Stratos IPFS Mainnet Release stands out as a pivotal moment in the Stratos journey, marking a major milestone in decentralized storage technology. This release brings enhanced reliability, scalability, and security to the Stratos ecosystem, laying the foundation for further advancements and applications in decentralized file storage.
