Stratos Bi-Weekly Progress Report: July 19 — August 01, 2023
In the last two weeks, we have been focusing on deploying the SDS network on the Mesos testnet. And it’s finally ready. We still need to update related documents and publish them next week.
We have finished updating the Stratos Chain command line tool to support Ledger. We will have a tutorial about how to use Ledger with stchaind binary, mainly for those with some technical knowledge. However, there won’t be any Ledger Live integration in the predictable period, as Ledger has withheld any new external integrations. Even if they start to reassess, the queue ought to be long.
A couple of minor issues related to video streaming using SDS IPFS migration to SDS have been fixed. We are drafting detailed documentation to instruct how to stream video, migrate IPFS content to SDS, and use IPFS-compatible API with SDS command line tools.
We are again reviewing all the Metanode settings and adjusting them to align with mainnet requirements. We will publish some articles explaining those closer to the mainnet launch date.
We are currently updating the Stratos Chain Desktop Wallet for the Mesos testnet; it will be published in the next coming sprint.
