Road to Stratos Mainnet

Dear Stratos Community,

We would like to begin by thanking all those who have supported us and stayed with us since the very beginning of the IDO launch of the project. The ongoing development and testing efforts have resulted in significant progress. We have reached the following milestones:

• Stratos Chain Testnet (2021.06)
• Stratos Decentralized Storage Testnet (2021.10)
• Incentive Testnet Tropos-1 (2022.02)
• Incentive Testnet Tropos-2 (2022.03)
• Incentive Testnet Tropos-3 (2022.04)
• Incentive Testnet Tropos-4 (2022.07)

Our regular bi-weekly report details how many features we have developed and how many issues we have resolved. In addition, it is evident and noticeable that the network’s overall performance has improved when comparing Tropos-1 to Tropos-4. In the current state of the network, there are more than 30,000 valid SDS nodes online, more than 300,000 SDS nodes registered to the network, and Tropos 4 is operating quite stable.

From Tropos 1 to Tropos 4, we spent considerable time dealing with all the emerging issues. Certain issues can only be encountered in the testnet environment, as we are all aware. Fortunately, with the help of everyone, we have addressed and solved them. From now on, we will focus more on the network’s integration, functionalities, and reliability and strive to deliver a fully functional network in Tropos 5.

For all strategic Dapp partners, Tropos 5 will provide an environment for testing and developing integration solutions in preparation for the mainnet integration. This will ensure that we have a better user experience on the mainnet and everyone will be encouraged to use our products once the mainnet is launched.

Meanwhile, we will begin the preparations for the launch of Mainnet, which will include the following actions:

• Security Auditing
• Token Migration Plan

Once token migration and security auditing are completed, we will prepare the Stratos Chain Mainnet’s go-live. For a successful migration to the mainnet, we will give users several weeks to prepare their tokens, wallets, and Chain environments of developer and miner. Following this, we will publish all the technical requirements and deposit requirements for the SDS nodes. Once the community is ready, the SDS Mainnet will go live. Strategic partners who have fully tested the Tropos 5 integration may also try storing their content on our Mainnet simultaneously.

Stratos is considered to be one of the most advanced and innovative projects in this field. We are striving to build a fully decentralized cloud from the ground up, a concept that has never been achieved before. Unlike some projects, where certain guidelines and flows have been established in the past, and the process is clearly defined from the outset. It is with your help and contribution that we will be able to uncover many things that we are unable to estimate and prepare for scenarios involving high traffic and high node density. It requires the participation of the community to complete our design of a three-layer decentralized network, which is of the highest complexity compared to any other project in the industry.
